A senior ecommerce professional, I have a wide range ofexperience in all aspects of ecommerce, from design, to content production;from managing high availability infrastructure to user experience testing. Ihave experience in managing teams to deliver the above, as well as other areassuch as development testing and PCI compliance. I work within the fashionindustry.
I have particular interests in page performance, conversion rate optimisation,usability, responsive web design, customer experience and order fulfilment.
My goal is simple: I want to be responsible for the best-in-industry ecommercewebsite that does everything right, every last detail.
Marcus is a professionaltechnology leader with over 20 years experience of working in the InformationTechnology, specializing in Digital Transformations and Electronic Commerce.
Marcus recently worked inSilicon Valley for Apple, where he led eCommerce solutions delivery for theirworldwide on-line business, and also drove the adoption of Agile softwaredelivery. He returned to the UK at the beginning of 2016 to join Marks and Spencer,where he is the director responsible for driving the company’s digitaltransformation. Marcus East is an expert in Agile transformations, with realexperience of driving the adoption of Agile in major organisations like ComicRelief and Apple.
Having lived and worked inthe UK, Asia and America, he has a truly international perspective on thechallenges facing organisations and societies today, and how technology affectsthem - he has strong views on managing technology talent and how large corporationsshould react to the challenges and opportunities that the advent of the digitalage brings.

Mario Viviani is Technology Evangelist at Amazon Appstore UK. He started mobiledevelopment in 2010, focusing on the Android platform. In 2011 he founded themobile-focused startup Mariux Apps, developing both consumer-oriented andthird-party apps, where he published more than 90 apps and reached more than 12million total downloads. In 2013 he was awarded by Google of the GoogleDeveloper Expert title for Android, and has spoken at worldwide eventsincluding Droidcon, Android Developer Days, TEDx and Google I/O. Mario has alsobeen an active part of the startup community. In 2015 he joined Amazon, whereas Technology Evangelist he engages with the developer community and companies,presents Amazon newest technologies and ensures mobile app developers areup-to-date on Amazon devices and services.
Since the launch of the new and improved thetrainline.com app, David Slocombe has been focused on optimising the app experience to add real value to customers. His mission is to provide smarter journeys to Trainline's customers, from planning to booking to travel, they care deeply about solving their customers travel problems through their world class technology and customer experience. Prior to this Dave was the first Head of Mobile at lastminute.com building their mobile app and web teams and is a veteran of several failed startups Interestingly, in addition to his leading role at thetrainline.com, David is the Founder of Heads Up London - the UK's largest wearable technology forum, that attracts more that 100 monthly attendees. He is a true mobile titan and will be sharing his wealth of insights.
After successfully landing On the Beach’s first mobile appto the app store in September ’14, as the business owner for all customerfacing web developments, Chris Dalrymple is now in the process of personalisingthe cross-device user experience, including allowing customers to save holidaysas they research. He will share exclusive insights from this project as well asreflective learnings from his 10 years of specific experience driving growth ineCommerce.
Andrew leads thee-commerce & digital marketing team at Andertons Music - the UK'smost-respected brand in musical instrument retail. With a reach of over half amillion YouTube subscribers, the Andertons brand is loved by musiciansworldwide. The 12-strong digital team cover everything from expert contentwriting and video production, to PPC and e-commerce platform technology.
Dominic moved into technology sales after a short stint in theBritish Army. Having been born andraised outside the UK, he understood the cultural challenges of selling indifferent countries and went on to build a successful career in internationaltechnology sales, marketing and business development over a 24 year period.Working for companies such as CA, Amdocs and LogMeIn, Dominic has helped todeliver growth across numerous markets in direct and indirect salesorganisations. As a founder of Livedrive, he built the sales and marketingstrategy that helped the business grow into one of the UK's leading cloudstorage providers prior to its sale in 2014. As Chief Revenue Officer at iAdvize, Dominic is working with the seniormanagement team to define and execute the international expansion strategy inone of the most exciting technology companies around today.
Mike founded Branch in 2014 with three other co-founders while attending the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). Branch was born from the challenges the co-founders faced as they struggled to maintain the growth of the previous venture, Kindred Prints, a mobile photo-printing app. The founding team built the first deep linking SDK to connect their app with end users more easily. Branch has since evolved into a robust mobile linking platform with cross-channel solutions for businesses of all sizes to drive app installs and user engagement.
Prior to Branch, Mike spent 5 years in product development for 3M, where he launched over a dozen products and acquired 10 patents. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell and an MBA from Stanford University. Outside work, Mike spent 8 years as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and is an avid woodworker.
An evangelist for omni-channel customer experience, Emily has held senior roles at Samsung in customer engagement, most recently as UK Head of CRM and Data, driving consumer retention through digital platforms such as Email and the myGalaxy app. Emily also held marketing leadership roles at Telefonica Digital, BSkyB (growing SkyGo’s user base) and has worked with major UK retail brands including Nandos, O2 Arena, The Body Shop and River Island to leverage mobile data for targeted engagement.
Emily holds a B.A. Honours in European Marketing and Languages from Roehampton University and received a CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications/Advanced Online Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
John Gessau is Director of Product Management at ACI Worldwide, with specific responsibility for Mobile Payments. John’s focus is on enabling ACI’s merchant customers to accept and integrate mobile payments into their in-store, mobile app and browser channels. Prior to this John was responsible for ACI’s Mobile Banking solutions for retail and commercial banking.
